Convenience becomes dependency. And what first appears as progress gradually reveals a deeper question of ownership, control, and sovereignty.

The intention was not simply to advertise a technology, but to dramatize a shift in power: from the individual to the system, from private life to exposed data. The film had to express that transformation in a way that felt immediate, cinematic, and emotionally legible. It needed to capture not only the functionality of QVAC, but the larger idea behind it: intelligence that does not extract, centralize, or dominate, but remains local, private, and decentralized.

Set in a near future, Genesis imagines a world pushed into chaos after a catastrophic breach of the dominant global AI system. Personal data, medical records, financial information, and private conversations suddenly spill into the public domain. What once felt like progress is revealed as a fragile and dangerous dependency on a single centralized infrastructure. In response, a group of cypherpunks launches QVAC: a decentralized, local AI designed to protect privacy and return control to the edge.
